Yes, it was a week and a half ago but it was great. There is just something about family and those you love being under one roof.. eating, conversating, planning the big deals you are hoping to get the next day that makes you feel all warm and cozy inside.
Speaking of Black Friday.. anyone get out and fight the crowds? I did, though I wouldn't call it fighting the crowds so much as being pushed by the crowds. :) I was out at 2:45a.m. waiting in line in front of Toys R Us. Wow, was that fun.. and believe it or not I was not the first one there but the 7th! yes, at least 6 people are crazier than I am. :) I bought L a pretend kitchen for $30 off! Then I dashed to the checkout and left.
Not much has happened since Thanksgiving, we are just getting ready for Christmas now. We bought our tree this past Saturday (the 6th) and decorated it, wrapped a few presents and it is starting to look more like Christmas around here.
This year is the first year I have decided to take the girls one by one to shop for the other girls, this past Sunday was K's turn to shop for H & L and she bought them both some little fur real puppies, they are really cute and I know the girls will really like them on Christmas morning. :) This coming weekend I will take H and then L on the following weekend (the weekend before Christmas.. EEK!) I lik emy idea of some one on one girl time and think the girls really like spending some time with just mom.
